The Tahamí Mission
Tahamí By Nature’s founder has beenmaking handcrafted beauty products since 2009. However, it was not until shelearned the plight of children in the foster care system that she decided to dowhat people had been suggesting for years…sell her "stuff." Soapingwith a Purpose was born.Soaping With A PurposeSoaping with aPurpose…means we take a portion of soap sales (really all sales) and donate to acharity that assists foster children and the adults that support them. Why dowe do this? Well, here are a few of the reasons: Foster Children are children that adultshave failed – not the other way around.

Foster Kids Charity isa 501 (c) (3) public/private partnership that provides emergency goods andservices directly to children under the care of Child Protective Services (CPS)The Tahamí teambelieves that a company can be "meaningfully" charitable whilemaintaining profitability. Tahamí has committed to donated 10% of all sales toFoster Kids Charity. This is 10% of all sales before all costs. Foster Children
Are children that adults have failed – not the other way around.
Tahamí has decided to support Foster Kids Charity, the non-profit arm of a local Child Protective Service in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. As the Foster Kids Charity website states, “Foster Kids Charity strives to make sure that every child in the foster care system has their basic, personal needs met." This is an effort Tahamí is honored to support.
